I was born on July 4th, 1979 in Corfu Island, Greece. I wasn’t really interested much in studying except listening to music and painting in class. So I took acoustic guitar lessons at a music school, somewhere at the age of twelve years. Later I decided to pursue a career as an interior designer, but music was always on my mind.The love of music came to me in the late 80's, when I became a big fan of AOR Music since I saw the Rocky movies and felt in love with Survivor band, but also with Europe, Asia and Def Leppard. I started collecting records in the early 90's during that great music era, when bands such as Guns N' Roses and Alice Cooper did their appearance on MTV.
Early years
In the year 1992 and older friend approached me and gave me a cassette of Helloween's ''Keeper Of The Seven Keys''. So when I listened to it and heard a different kind of rock sound, soon I became a lover of Helloween band. I also found out Gamma Ray, Stratovarius and Blind Guardian in time that they weren’t much famous.
Highschool Bands
After so many albums I was very passionate. I started to participate in local bands but due to the different sounds and opinions, I failed to remain a main member. Therefore I decided to start vocals and electric guitar lessons back to the music school. I also learned to play some themes at the piano. I might say I was a little bit lazy to learn the guitar, but I managed over a long period of time to record several ideas on tapes. I also wrote many lyric songs.
Μyspace era
In the year 2006 I joined a band called "The Silent Rage" but I had to deal with what the band demanded. No-one agreed with my ideas, and soon I was replaced by a new singer. After that I decided to work alone and soon I made my own project, named "Contemplation" and started to work on my own material without any interference. One day felt on my hands a Rock Opera album from Ayreon. Soon I became a die-hard fan and I understood what I really wanted to do. A Rock Opera!
With so much lyrics and music I could have my own concept. A concept that talks about the story of seven saviors who are going to make a world revolution in the future globalization.
Through my Myspace page later I had a lot of emails with my idol, Arjen Lucassen. Soon we became friends and spent a lot of time talking about music.
During that time, I also met Vangelis Yalamas from Fragile Vastness and started a cooperation with him until today. In 2008 we recorded at his personal studio ''Fragile Studios'' in Athens two demo songs and now I’m working with him on my first album "Heading For Revolution", in which they will participate many known musicians as well from the metal background.
Contemplation and the rock opera.
I gathered all my songs and decided to make my own rock opera.The concept synopsis has to do with the distant future after the year 2053 where everything is under control. In separate places they live seven 'chosen ones' who will lead the masses against the globalization and that would be the final Revolution.
This year me and Vangelis keep working hard on every idea and music element and so far we are pleased about the results. We are also working on my first video clip and will be finished this year. Until then I will work with several (guests) who are going to participate on the album.
